Harper has always been certain of three things:

1. On her eighteenth birthday, she'll be married off to a prince of her parents choosing.

2. That one day she'll rule over a kingdom.

3. That she's never allowed to step foot into Shimmerland, the faerie territory surrounding her kingdom. That doing so will lead to a painful death.

At least that's what she's been told.

But right after her parents announce the prince she's going to marry, Harper blacks out and wakes up in the middle of Shimmerland. And everything she thought she knew changes in an instant.

Fearing her death is near, she desperately tries to find her way back to her kingdom. But in Shimmerland, it's hard to tell which way is what. So, when she stumbles across Sebastian, a sexy, but cocky faerie who insists he can help her get back home, she goes against everything she's been taught and accepts his offer.

But someone is dead set on making sure Harper never makes it back to her kingdom alive.

Who can she trust? And just how much is she willing to risk to make it back home?
