Arianwyn and Rael have rescued Charon and are heading home for a well deserved rest. Their return is marked by betrayal.
In their absence, Ethelinda married the outcast (and insane) Prince Victor and took control of the kingdom. Rael and Arianwyn are now fugitives in their own kingdom.
Now Rael and Arianwyn have to retake their kingdom. In order to do that, they must find allies among their enemies and friends they have hurt.
